Blue Orchid Designs Blogging Bootcamp

Wednesday I was fortunate to participate in the Blue Orchid Designs Blogging Bootcamp hosted by Liene Stevens of Blue Orchid Designs and The Smart Planner. The event was held at Kimberly Jarman Photography Studio in Downtown Mesa.

Liene

I have known Liene for several years and really enjoy her passion for people and her ability to communicate clear, definitive ways to increase and improve your business. Liene is not only a sharp business woman but a great friend, and one of the most talented event designers you will come across. In a short two years, Liene's blog has reached around the world, growing to over 3000 unique daily visitors. She is a blogging power house! The content on Blue Orchid Designs blog and The Smart Planner blog are always interesting and insightful.

The Blogging Bootcamp was very informative. We learned how to increase our readership and find our unique blogging voice, as well as how to analyze our blogging progress. Needless to say, my head is full of fun new blogging ideas. What a great way to start blogging in 2009! Thanks Liene!

I brought my camera to document the workshop for Blue Orchid Designs. Here are a few more of my favorites images from the day.

BBJ Linen Website

BBJ Linen, a national linen company, just updated their website which features a lot of my photography. BBJ's Phoenix Senior Sales Manager, Laurie Southwick is one of the coolest ladies you will meet in the wedding business. She and I have worked on so many weddings and special projects together. The linens she brings are always creative and fun. Make sure to give BBJ a call if you want your event to pop!

We shot the opening images on their homepage gallery at Villa Siena for the Phoenix Bride & Groom Magazine cover.

The Pink Flamingo Party was especially fun as the NACE 2007 national convention kicked off at the Valley HO!

I shot the Ad campaign for Corte Bella. The sunsets at Corte Bella are amazing and worth checking out for yourself. I hear the golfing is not bad either.

The cake pictures are also from the Phoenix Bride & Groom magazine shoot. The amazing Andrea Blaut from Sedona Cake Couture makes the most visually arresting cakes.
