White Christmas

The famous song White Christmas, sung by Bing Crosby, has never seemed more fitting than this year as we traveled home to Missoula Montana for a little R&R. One beautiful day we traveled to Lolo pass which sits on the border of Idaho and Montana. It was a winter wonderland showcasing six feet of soft fluffy snow. We traversed the country side on cross country skis and ended the day with a tasty hot chocolate.

My dad helped design the visitor center and the trails at the Lolo lodge where he is resting after a long trek.

I love Skiing!! Can you feel the enthusiasm?

This totem pole reminds me of the High School project I did for my history teacher my junior year. A carpenter I am not but I did carve a totem that stood about 2 1/2 feet tall.
