Andy & Anne's Wedding

What an amazing wedding! On January 3, Andy and Anne were married in a touching ceremony at Brophy Chapel. Andy and Anne are one of those couples that you just have to love. Their strong connection with each other and those that surround them is obvious and fun to be around.

We started the wedding day at V's Barbershop for the guys and Moments Salon for the girls. After finishing up the final touches at home, the couple came together for an emotional first meeting at the Royal Palms Resort & Spa. Following the ceremony at Brophy Chapel, the guests and the bridal party traveled over to be a lively reception at the Desert Botanical Garden.

ESPN Magazine: The Fan Issue

I love doing editorial photography assignments. Newspaper photography is where I started my career and is where I still have a strong passion. So, it was an especially good day when I was able to combine my love of journalism and my newly found status as a bandwagon fan of the Arizona Cardinals for an assignment in ESPN Magazine.

The magazine was doing an article on the crazy traditions that football fans rely on to help their teams win. I documented Cardinals fan, Dan Mitchell, as he and his friends celebrated the Cardinals win in the NFC Championship game against the Philidelphia Eagles.

Dan & Nicole's Wedding

Congratulations Dan & Nicole!!! Dan and Nicole were the lucky winners of the wedding giveaway from North Valley Magazine. We were thrilled to be involved in helping this deserving couple create a beautiful wedding held at the Firesky Resort and Spa on December 30th. It was so great working with Dan & Nicole as they were very down-to-earth and smiled all day. Dan & Nicole had a playful chemistry which showed in their pictures.

On a personal note: I love how passionate Dan & Nicole are for God. The way they share their wonderful hearts with those in need is inspiring. They have chosen to spend their lives mentoring, helping and counseling those who are down on their luck. Keep up the good work you guys!

I love this stolen kiss from Nicole's father. He was so excited to see his little girl getting married.

I am always amazed when I am on this property as it never seems like you are in Arizona. The light was especially beautiful on this perfect Arizona afternoon.

Dan & Nicole are a really silly couple with a ton of energy. I fell in love with them as soon as they came into my studio.

I thought that it was sweet that Dan & Nicole had decided to wait to kiss until their wedding day. During the portrait session, Dan kept teasing Nicole that he was going to breakdown and give her a kiss before the wedding started. Fortunately, she was able to keep him at bay.

Finally the first kiss!!!!

Dan & Nicole met during Christmas and wanted to have a Christmas themed wedding. I thought it was completely appropriate that their favors to the guests were these red ornaments.
